The youngest Judolions met on Saturday, the 21th of November for the annual Club Tournament of the SFV Europa. Over 100 Participants were expected and waited expectantly for their first fighting experience. Playing games the warming up exercises accompanied by musical entertaiment were much fun for everybody. Then the tournament started in a round robin modus supervised by our three referees Anne Christoph, Björn, Jessica, Georg and Andre in a sensible manner suitable to encourage everybody to try their best.

Thus even the youngest players showed some engaged fighting already and in turn earned many encouraging words by their admiring parents and families. In between there was still time to enjoy the special snacks and goodies provided for by the snack bar. Many thanks to Ute Jäde, Sandra Gärtner and all the unnamed bakers of endless cakes and cookies for these marvelous treats. Afterwards everyone had the opportunity to watch Andre Breitbarths fight for Bronze at the WM u20 this year as a video commented by the young judoka himself much to the delight of the young ones. Medals were awarded by Andre and World Champion 1991 SFV Europa Judoka Frauke Eickhoff to every player according to their ranking in the following award ceremony apprechiating their efforts and motivating the kids to attend again in the next tournament and gain some more experiences in beginning a judo players carrier.
