 The yearly Christmas Tournament of the SFV Europa will be held in 2010 like 2009 again. Santa Claus will be one of the Judoka for sure, medals will be awarded to even the youngest participants honoring their skill and effort on the mat. Keep the date on your scedule, the exact day will be announced in November 2010 during training sessions and on this homepage including the forms for admission for club members. We will be looking forward to meet you! |

 The youngest Judolions met on Saturday, the 13th of December for the annual Club Tournament of the SFV Europa. 80 Participants were expected and waited expectantly for their first fighting experience. Playing games the warming up exercises accompanied by musical entertaiment were much fun for everybody. Then the tournament started in a round robin modus supervised by our three referees Anika, Anne and Victoria in a sensible manner suitable to encourage everybody to try their best. |

 The Leoniade 2008 was won by young Johanna Terschlüsen with 165 pts followed by Tarek Scharifi (155 pts) and Nico Wichmann (155 pts). Each of the participants had to show their athletic abilitiers throughhout a callenging parcours, then demonstrate their skills as designer for Judo wear 2010 and las not least in the Judo tournament. Much attention by the watching families got Jakob Terschlüsen as well for his precise and technically nice Ippon throws in the first seconds of his fights. Julia and Lars Geiger showed much fighting spirit to an astounded public even when confronted with much older opponents - Braunschweig`s got Judo Talents! |

 The annual Leoniade 2010 will be held in July next year shortly prior to summer vacations. Wanted: The winner of three parts of the competition - Judo, Athletics and Creative Design. The names of the young talents, who won the competition in the years before are listed below in our "List of Fame".
Try to top their performances by points and thus enlist yourselves into the Leoniade Book of Records. We will meet each other for the event in May 2010! |

 The annual club christmas tournament started on December 15th 2007 with about 70 perticipants. At first the winners of the "Festival of the Best" made their entrance with a fascinating little show created ba the kids themselves including music and light effects. The "Wrestlers" showed what happens, if people do not stick to the rules, the "Eurobats" showed Judoacrobatic elements and the "Flying playboys" demomstrated their skills in partner acrobatics. The "Pyramid dwarfs" then used their bodies to build several astonishing pyramids. |
